What is Included?
This is our premium tour. As previously stated we do tailor trips to suit different budgets and can work with you to set up the tour you expect and can afford.
- QANTAS Roundtrip Airfares departing local airport including associated taxes and 3 domestic stops in Australia (additional stops can be arranged)

- Ground Transport: 48 seat Luxury 5-star safety coach includes reclining seats each with a seat belt, air-conditioning, PA System, TV/video player and rest room
- Games against suitable Club or National Development Squad teams
- Referees: We have a close relationship with the Referees Association and although not appointed by BTA, we will make every effort (including additional finances) to contract the best available (professional league) officials for your games

- After-game functions/meal with host club (excellent networking and recruiting opportunity)
- All USA Basketball, Basketball Australia & State sanction fees & procedures
- Guided Coach tour of each city you visit: Excellent for orientation and to get a feel for where you are
- Sydney Harbour Highlights Cruise: A beautiful cruise lasting 75 minutes with great photo opportunities
- Guided tour of Sydney’s famous Opera House: A nice 35-minute tour of this famous landmark
- Guided Tour of The Rocks & Darling Harbour areas
- Entry to a Professional Aussie Rules Football or Rugby Game
- Entry to an Aboriginal Cultural Centre: Enjoy lessons throwing a boomerang & playing the didgeridoo as well as learn a little about Aboriginal culture, traditional foods, medicines, etc.
- Entry to an Australian Wildlife Park: This usually includes Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo providing your tour stops in Brisbane. You can have photos taken holding a koala & baby crocodile, pat kangaroos, see free flight bird and crocodile shows, as well as hundreds of other native Australian animals
- Guided Tour of the Sydney 2000 Olympic facilities: This includes entry to Stadium Australia (now known as Telstra Stadium), the main arena used for the opening/closing ceremonies and athletics
- Day trip to the Blue Mountains: About one hour west of Sydney, your visit will include a ride on the Katoomba scenic rail and cable car. You will also have time for a trail walk around the “3 Sisters” and “Valley of the Waters”
- Great Barrier Reef Experience (your choice of one of the following options)
- Full Day Great Barrier Reef Excursion: From 8:30am-5:30pm you will enjoy a quality buffet lunch, snorkelling gear, Tropical Island stopover (see Cassius, the largest Crocodile in captivity in the world) & enjoy a semi-submersible submarine ride
- Comprehensive Great Barrier Reef Experience: This includes two days and one night onboard the vessel “Reef Encounter” which includes all meals, snorkelling gear and a glass bottom boat ride (scuba diving is apprx US$40 per dive)
- Day visit to the Kuranda Ranges via SKYRAIL: You will ride the longest gondola (cable car) in the world 4.7 miles above the canopy of this pristine tropical rainforest. Also have time to walk through the forest & eat lunch in the mountain town of Kuranda
- Guided rainforest tour onboard an Amphibious WWII USA Army Duck
- Day visit to the Daintree National Park, the oldest surviving rainforest in the world!!
- BTA Tour Guide with extensive experience in basketball playing/coaching will travel with your group 24-hours per day for the duration of your tour. Our Australian-born tour leaders assist with tour logistics and provide suitable options for the group as required. Our tour leaders’ contacts, basketball background, and local knowledge considerably enhance the quality of your group’s time in Australia. Whether it be in assisting your coaches with networking & socializing with Australian coaches, or helping you find the best seafood restaurants, golf courses, shopping etc. We will take great care of you!!!!
- BTA Aussie gift pack for each passenger on arrival. This includes a phone card with at least 90 minutes of talk-time back to the USA, two pre-stamped Aussie postcards to send home, souvenir tour shirt, discount coupons, city maps & brochures for places you will visit and more
- If you desire, we can also organize for a Coaching Clinic(s) to be run in conjunction with your games
Note: If you choose to travel with boosters, they will have their own Aussie guide and ride in their own Luxury 5 star safety coaches
