What is the Student Ambassador Program?
The All Aussie Travel (AAT) high school student ambassador program is designed to provide opportunity for both USA and Australian students to enjoy the vast benefits of cultural exchange & international travel. As the emphasis on global awareness has increased in recent years so too has the popularity of international student travel with many Australian schools interested in hosting American groups. Our program not only affords participants the opportunity to achieve a broader more enlightened perspective of the world, but also the chance to create lifelong friendships from their own local delegation and the Aussie students that they will encounter along the way.
Our program includes a great deal of sightseeing opportunities as well as a visit to an Australian high school, where students will be involved in attending classes, school activities and experiencing a home stay for 2 nights with selected Australian families. We also organize other opportunities to socialize with Aussie students. There is also an on-tour educational component which consists of 3 x 2 hour discussion groups on Australian history, culture and government. Prior to departure students will also meet for 2 x 2 hour presentations to ensure all participants are ready and prepared for their international adventure.

More important than assisting students to gain an improved international perspective is program safety. Briefly, we have an industry leading 1:8 ratio of staff to students which from a supervision perspective is certainly more than adequate. While our tour guides are all Australian born and bred the accompanying staff members are qualified and active high school teachers in the USA school system and take great care of all program participants.
