Craig Douglass

Craig is owner/manager of All Aussie Travel (AAT), Basketball Tours Australia (BTA) and the Sports Travel Academy (STA) www.sportstravelacademy.com Craig is Australian born and lived in Australia for most of his life until relocating to the USA in 2002. Currently residing in Cary, North Carolina, Craig has been involved with the operation and planning of over 70 international tour groups to and from Australia, USA, New Zealand & Canada. In 2008 we expanded our operations with trips to Europe & South Africa and have since grown into a worldwide sports travel provider catering to global sports team travel & sport based 2-4 week faculty led study abroad classes for Sport Management, Sport Business, Sport Medicine or Athletic Training classes for a range of universities in various different countries.

Craig has coached basketball extensively in Australia including a stint in the CBA, a semi-pro league and more recently (to our knowledge) became the first Australian to Head Coach a USA college basketball program. Craig enjoyed 2 years head coaching women's college basketball at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. In March 2006 Craig resigned from Flagler to return to the travel industry where he worked full time for 6 years prior to 9/11/2001. While at Flagler, Craig was still involved in tours between Australia and the USA on a part time basis.

Craig says, "I loved getting back into coaching! It was a fantastic experience to get a first hand feel for head coaching in the USA Collegiate basketball system. But all things considered, I think the time is right to move back into the travel industry that I previously enjoyed so much. I love basketball and travel; I enjoy traveling with students on summer study abroad programs, NCAA basketball teams & vacation groups."

Craig completed his education in 1995 at University of Western Sydney (Sports Studies) program with majors in sport management, marketing, sport psychology & communication.
